The process of moving from Interested Outsider to Full-fledged Builder can be intimidating as the would-be-builder conducts research, builds support for the project, and works up his or her budget. There are a number of considerations that a person needs to become comfortable with before being ready to commit, and our guest this episode did just that and recently took the plunge into building.

Tim Wrede. Tim is a 150-hr private pilot living on Long Island, NY, with his wife and three children. He recently completed a Sonex B Model tail kit as the first step towards his project, and during AirVenture 2017 ordered the fuselage kit to keep the build moving along.
